Join us in the search for solutions toward a sustainable future.** ACCIONA, through its Water business, is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer for its new CESAN sanitation project in Espírito Santo.**Job Description** * Evaluate conceptual studies, basic designs, and execution designs for Sanitary Sewer Systems; * Collaborate with other departments to clarify technical questions related to developed drawings and designs; * Review technical drawings and designs, ensuring representations comply with technical specifications, regulatory standards, and client or requesting department requirements; * Produce technical drawings of components, products, installations, or buildings using specialized software; * Participate in technical meetings with multidisciplinary teams to collect necessary data and information for projects; Organize, control, and monitor contracts with third-party designers; * Participate in technical meetings with multidisciplinary teams to collect necessary data and information for projects; Organize, control, and monitor contracts with third-party designers; * Ensure predecessor activities—such as preliminary services, inspections, topography, soil investigation, geotechnics, authorizations, permits, and land regularization—are executed within required timelines to complete the execution design and commence construction per the master construction plan; * Update predecessor structures in schedules, reflecting project execution logic and interdependencies; Eliminate risks, uncertainties, and constraints hindering project progress jointly with other departments; * Identify opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs through optimization of hydro-energy projects; Identify opportunities to adopt emerging, effective, efficient, and sustainable (environmental, social, and economic) technologies; Perform long-, medium-, and short-term planning (Weekly Work Programming – WWP); * Conduct verification and validate monthly measurements in accordance with Measurement Bulletins (MB), as stipulated in contractual terms; Validate Daily Service Reports (DSR), ensuring consistency among activities, compliance with QSSMA procedures, measurements, physical and financial progress, and forecasted contractual balances; * Update the “Progress” control database, ensuring data accurately reflects completed services; * Update the monthly report presentation with key indicators, physical and financial progress of projects; * Maintain updated and organized all technical reports (designs) delivered to CESAN, ensuring evidence of execution and contractual compliance is properly recorded; * Maintain all controls of changes/revisions to designs requested by CESAN and internally; * Respond to technical information requests issued by Legal, supporting preparation of replies to official letters from entities including CESAN, Independent Verifier, Environmental Agencies, and Municipal and State Governments. * Update the project prioritization database, including status and delivery milestones, ensuring alignment with strategic planning; * Monitor project approval status with CESAN, ensuring all procedural steps are cleared for construction commencement; * Initiate purchase orders in the system for material procurement and service contracting, per internal procedures and execution schedules; * Attend inspections, audits, and technical site visits; * Propose continuous improvements to “Design” processes within ACCIONA’s Engineering Quality Management System; * Comply with ACCIONA’s work standards, safety procedures, and QSSMA policies. **Candidate Requirements** **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Sanitary Engineering, or related fields. * Preferred: over 3 years of experience in this field or similar roles. * Experience in Sanitary Sewer System projects. **Benefits** * Meal/Voucher Allowance (VR/VA) * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance **Location** Guarapari, Espírito Santo *ACCIONA has received the Top Employer certification for 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
