Job Summary: A professional responsible for handling baggage and cargo, inspecting and supervising packaging, and performing aircraft handling within established standards. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure the safety of aircraft, baggage, and cargo. 2. Handle and segregate baggage and cargo in accordance with regulations. 3. Provide prompt aircraft handling and equipment inspection. Description: * Completed high school education; * Strong interpersonal communication skills; * Analytical ability in assessing situations; * Stress resistance; Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, articulation of upper and lower limbs, bipedal standing posture for performing tasks, trunk rotation and flexion, physical effort, and ambulation throughout the operational area. Sensory requirements include visual acuity for moving baggage from conveyor belts to transport equipment, pavement navigation, loading and unloading aircraft with luggage and cargo, signaling around the flight being handled, floor inspection and scanning to collect fallen objects, and auditory perception for identifying audible signals from equipment and machinery on the ramp. Neuropsychological requirements include attention, concentration, organizational ability, data interpretation, and initiative in resolving causal situations. * Monitor aircraft during arrivals and departures; * Verify and monitor baggage and cargo labels; * Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft in accordance with the Client's Manual or dnata's MGO; * Through reading baggage and cargo identification labels (with or without technological assistance), segregate items in airport sorting areas to ensure proper loading onto storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) for correct flights; * Stow baggage and cargo in aircraft holds following norms and procedures outlined in the MGO, including special handling recommendations (fragile, dangerous, live animals, perishable cargo); * Through reading volume identification labels, unload baggage and cargo and place them at designated locations (baggage reclaim carousels); * Segregate baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate flight connections by reading volume identification labels; * Inspect and supervise cargo and baggage packaging to verify compliance with transportation requirements, ensuring flight safety and handler safety; * Correctly handle and properly stow baggage and cargo in aircraft holds, observing internal restraint and hold height safety limits; * Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers and place them at designated locations; * Perform equipment marshalling during coupling procedures with aircraft to prevent fuselage collisions; * Conduct aircraft handling within the timeframes established for each type of service and airport classification where operating; * Perform checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety and report equipment requiring repairs to the GSE Technical maintenance team; * Report any equipment irregularities occurring during operations to supervisors. 2511070202301574695
