Job Summary: A Quality Engineering professional focused on ensuring requirements, anticipating failures, and leading continuous improvements from design through validation. Key Highlights: 1. Work on design quality, supporting development and engineering teams. 2. Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement projects. 3. Experience in project management and advanced quality tools. Description: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering. * Postgraduate degree/MBA preferred. * Certification – Green Belt Specialist. * Quality Tools – Proficiency: APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning); Statistical Process Control; Problem Analysis and Resolution Methodology (MASP, 8D, PDCA); Control Plans and FMEA. * Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred. * IT: Minitab – Proficiency; IT: Power BI – Advanced knowledge. * Experience in footwear manufacturing processes or rubber industry will be considered a plus. * Experience in project management. * Geographic mobility. * Work from the design phase (Design Quality), supporting Development and Product Engineering teams to ensure compliance with critical quality requirements. * Participate in risk analyses to anticipate potential failures and propose preventive actions. * Define protocols for approval and monitor pilot production runs and scale-up tests, ensuring process robustness, repeatability, and correlation between pilot and full-scale production. * Prepare quality technical documentation, such as control plans, instructions, procedures, acceptance criteria, among others. * Conduct, jointly with the project team, capability studies for critical product characteristics for new developments. * Issue reports containing critical analysis of results and recommendations for approval or rejection. * Lead and/or participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement projects. * Conduct technical audits and participate in assessments of internal process technical capability (e.g., statistical studies, capability analysis, data analysis). * Monitor Quality Planning department KPIs and define improvement actions. * Identify, record, and ensure use and feedback of lessons learned during new product development by relevant departments, aiming to prevent recurrence of failures. * Responsible for validating the effectiveness of actions implemented by engineering for mold changes, material changes, product design changes, etc. 2512120202501916215
