General Description: Performs surface finishing on cast parts using grinding or sanding machines, removing burrs, imperfections, and excess material to ensure the required quality standard. Main Responsibilities: Operate fixed or portable grinders for part finishing; Sand, grind, and clean cast areas with irregularities; Visually inspect the quality of the finish; Meet tolerances and specifications according to foundry standards; Maintain grinding equipment and tools; Follow safety regulations, especially regarding the proper use of PPE. Desirable Requirements: Experience in metal grinding; Physical endurance and manual dexterity; Basic knowledge of types of burrs and defects in cast parts; Commitment to quality and safety.
