Job Summary: Coordinate Occupational Health and Safety in industrial operations, managing administrative routines, legal and technical documentation, and identifying and mitigating risks. Identify hazards and assess risks in accordance with Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs) OPPORTUNITY FOR RESIDENTS IN THE BELO HORIZONTE METROPOLITAN REGION, CONGONHAS, CONSELHEIRO LAFAIETE, OR OURO BRANCO/MG. **Responsibilities:** · Coordinate Occupational Health and Safety for operations, balancing field activities and administrative routine management; · Structure, review, and maintain up-to-date legal and technical safety documentation, including the Risk Assessment Program (PGR), Occupational Health Monitoring Program (PCMSO), Technical Report on Working Conditions (LTCAT), Prevention Program for Environmental Hazards (PPR), Accident Prevention Program (PCA), and other applicable programs; · Translate occupational health and safety legal requirements into operational practice, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control implementation in accordance with NRs; · Develop, review, and ensure implementation of safety procedures and operational standards at work sites; · Conduct occupational and process risk assessments, defining and monitoring preventive and corrective actions; · Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, develop action plans, and strengthen preventive practices; · Collaborate with operational and strategic departments, supporting leadership in safety-related decision-making; · Monitor safety indicators, training programs, and awareness initiatives to reinforce a safety culture; · Review and validate internal and contractor-provided technical documentation to ensure legal compliance in outsourced operations; · Support projects, construction works, and interventions from an Occupational Safety Engineering perspective, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation; · Attend labor expert evaluations, assess technical reports, and issue technical opinions when required; · Assume technical responsibility for the safety of operations under one’s management, including scenarios lacking dedicated on-site resources. **Requirements** · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specialized in Occupational Safety Engineering, with active CREA registration; · Proven experience in Occupational Health and Safety management within industrial environments, preferably in mining, steelmaking, or heavy industry; · In-depth knowledge of Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs) and applicable legislation; · Experience in developing, implementing, and managing mandatory programs (e.g., PGR, PCMSO, LTCAT); · Practical experience in accident and incident investigation and analysis, contract oversight, and third-party management; · Valid driver's license (CNH), driving experience, and availability for weekly inter-municipal travel.
