This position combines strong hands-on automation work with technical leadership, guiding QA teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation. The professional will work with modern tools such as Playwright, Node.js, and AI/LLM-based solutions, while promoting best practices in CI/CD, Agile, and SAFe. Responsibilities and Expectations Team Leadership and Management * Lead, guide, and develop test automation teams, fostering collaboration and high performance. * Provide technical support to the team in framework design, test strategy definition, and troubleshooting. * Coordinate activities with third-party teams (vendors) and stakeholders to align strategies and deliveries. Frameworks and Automation Strategy * Architect, implement, and evolve reusable automation frameworks for modular and microservices-based systems. * Design and execute automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and modern tools. * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). * Ensure adequate test coverage across UI, APIs, and databases, validating both front-end and back-end. Technical Excellence * Lead the adoption of AI/LLM-based automation, model testing, and intelligent test selection. * Optimize frameworks for scalability, maintainability, and performance. * Conduct root cause analysis, debug failures, and collaborate closely with development teams. * Conduct code reviews and reinforce secure coding practices.
