Study guidance and academic autonomy The Teaching Assistant – Support in Natural Sciences and Mathematics carries out pedagogical support activities for students in Upper Elementary School (Final Years) and High School, contributing to strengthened learning, continuous remediation, and consolidation of competencies and skills defined in the Brazilian National Common Curriculum (BNCC). Their work takes place during doubt-resolution sessions, study groups, and after-school support activities, always under the guidance of the Pedagogical Coordination team and in alignment with teachers’ lesson plans, the Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP), the School Statute, the School Plan, and other applicable regulations and guidelines issued by Educativa. Ethical, collaborative, and committed performance is expected, focused on students’ holistic development, respecting institutional principles and current educational legislation. **Desirable Requirements** * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Bachelor’s in Exact Sciences Education, or related fields. * Familiarity with Natural Sciences and Mathematics content prescribed for Upper Elementary School (Final Years) and High School. * Conduct doubt-resolution sessions and learning-support meetings during after-school hours, focusing on reviewing, reinforcing, and deepening content previously taught by classroom teachers. * Guide students in organizing their studies, solving exercises, and using teaching materials recommended by faculty. * Assist students in understanding concepts from Natural Sciences and Mathematics through study strategies and individual or small-group mentoring. * Prepare and organize supplementary teaching materials, exercise lists, study guides, and didactic resources, following instructions from the pedagogical team and teachers. * Record student participation in support activities and report relevant information—including attendance, engagement, and observed difficulties—to the Pedagogical Coordination team. * Collaborate with teachers and coordination to identify content areas requiring reinforcement, respecting the institution’s pedagogical planning. * Encourage students’ study habits, autonomy, organization, and academic responsibility. * Maintain orderly arrangement of spaces and materials used during support activities. * Carry out duties in compliance with the **Brazilian National Common Curriculum (BNCC)** and other applicable educational regulations. * Operate in alignment with the **Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP)**, the **School Statute**, the **School Plan**, and other institutional documents guiding the school’s pedagogical and administrative organization. * Respect and adhere to governance principles, internal regulations, institutional policies, administrative procedures, and decisions made by school management. * Observe principles of professional ethics, functional confidentiality, and confidentiality of information accessed during job duties. * Comply with the provisions of the **General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018 – LGPD)**, safeguarding the privacy, security, and appropriate handling of personal data belonging to students, families, staff, and other members of the school community. * Attend meetings, training sessions, capacity-building events, and other institutional activities when summoned. * Perform other duties compatible with the position’s nature, provided they relate to pedagogical support and are assigned by the Pedagogical Coordination team or School Administration.
