Description: As a basic requirement, you must have: * Completed undergraduate degree or technologist degree in Engineering or related fields; * Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Safety Engineering; * Advanced knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs); * Knowledge of ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 management systems; * Accident investigation techniques (e.g., ICAM, 5 Whys, Cause Trees); * Knowledge of environmental and occupational safety legislation; * Ability to prepare technical reports. Summary Description: Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety guidelines by managing the alignment of practices with applicable standards and legislation within your area of responsibility, as well as providing advisory support to departments in project development, aiming to minimize risks to worker safety while supporting the company’s strategic objectives and growth. Detailed Description: Guarantee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Occupational Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring legal compliance, accident prevention, mitigation of environmental impacts, and promotion of a safety culture across all levels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Plan, implement, and monitor SHE policies, programs, and procedures; * Conduct risk analyses (e.g., JSA, HAZOP, APR, and similar) and propose control measures; * Ensure compliance with legal standards (NRs, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, environmental legislation, among others); * Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, developing action plans to eliminate root causes; * Coordinate inspection programs, internal audits, and oversight of external audits; * Analyze and close SHE performance indicators, prepare reports, and propose data-driven improvements; * Deliver training, awareness campaigns, and safety and environmental initiatives; * Manage waste, effluent, emission, and other environmental aspects; * Track environmental licenses and mandatory documentation with regulatory agencies; * Support operational teams in implementing safe and environmentally sound practices; * Participate in analysis and authorization of Work Permits (WPs); * Serve as technical reference for emergency response and development of emergency response plans. 251204020218910998
