Civil Area Activities Description: PERFORM MAINTENANCE TASKS, REPORT ON ISSUES, REQUEST MATERIALS, AND ACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUPERIOR AND MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN INSTRUCTIONS FOR CIVIL, HYDRAULIC, ETC. INSTALL BRICKS, APPLY PLASTER, REPLACE TRAPS AND FAUCETS, REPLACE SANITARY WARE, REPLACE MIRRORS, GLASS, TOILET SEAT LIDS, INSTALL WINDOWS AND DOORS, FLOORS AND FINISHING MATERIALS, CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL PIPEWORK, ASSEMBLE AND DISASSEMBLE SCAFFOLDING, PERFORM MINOR PLASTER REPAIRS, AND OTHER TASKS RELATED TO THIS POSITION. Painting Activities Description: Perform building and maintenance painting activities, preparing internal and external surfaces through sanding, scraping, cleaning, correcting imperfections, and applying fillers, sealers, primers, and paints. Paint walls, ceilings, metal structures, windows, doors, grilles, and other elements using rollers, brushes, paintbrushes, or appropriate equipment. Act according to instructions from the immediate supervisor and maintenance technician, requesting necessary materials and reporting work progress and any intervention requirements. Perform minor touch-ups and finishing work, maintaining quality, safety, and workplace organization standards. Assemble and disassemble scaffolding as needed to access painting areas.
