Job Summary: We are seeking a Pattern Maker to develop and grade patterns, oversee the production of pilot pieces, and identify production processes, with an emphasis on creativity and innovation. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for developing and grading patterns. 2. Oversees the production of pilot pieces and approves samples. 3. Requires creativity, innovation, and extensive knowledge of fabrics. We are looking for a Pattern Maker to join our team! **Responsibilities:** * Responsible for pattern development; * Responsible for pattern grading; * Oversees pilot piece production, analyzes and approves samples; * Identifies processes, raw materials, machines, and equipment required for production; * Identifies potential issues that may arise during piece production; * Performs nesting and plotting of pieces; * Assists and guides the pilot technician in piece production. * Performs pattern nesting to maximize fabric utilization; * Keeps the department up-to-date to meet cutting department demands; * Develops patterns respecting the characteristics of each fabric; * Maintains a consistently high level of productivity and pace; * Provides weekly feedback regarding performance and progress of duties and responsibilities; * Avoids unproductive professional conversations. REQUIREMENTS * Completed high school education; * Vocational training related to the position; * Proficiency in Audaces software; * Proven work experience in the field (documented); * Extensive knowledge of fabrics, including ability to distinguish among different types and understand the drape characteristics of each; * Creativity and innovative thinking, along with awareness of market trends, to suggest optimal solutions when strict adherence to client specifications is not feasible; * Ability to follow instructions, perseverance, responsibility, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and initiative.
