Inspect quality and collaborate with the team **About the Position:** We are looking for an experienced Seamstress to join our production team. The professional will be responsible for designing, repairing, and adjusting clothing items and other products using sewing machines and manual techniques. **Responsibilities and Duties** • Operate industrial sewing machines (straight-stitch, overlock, binding, etc.) and domestic sewing machines as required by production needs. • Design clothing items, accessories, or other textile products following patterns, technical specifications, and established quality standards. • Perform repairs and adjustments on finished items, such as hems, darts, zipper replacements, and various alterations. • Join fabrics and other materials precisely using appropriate needles, threads, and sewing techniques for each material type. • Inspect the quality of manufactured items, identifying and correcting potential defects or non-conformities. • Organize and maintain a clean workstation, ensuring proper care of machines and tools. • Collaborate with the design and production teams to optimize processes and ensure delivery of high-quality products. **Requirements and Qualifications:** • Experience as a Seamstress in industrial garment manufacturing or a tailoring workshop. • Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines (straight-stitch, overlock, binding). • Knowledge of different fabrics, threads, and notions, and their applications. • Completed elementary education; professional training courses in sewing, cutting, and pattern-making are considered advantageous. **Skills and Competencies:** **•** Manual dexterity and skill. • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify minor imperfections and ensure finishing quality. • Organization: Maintain a tidy workplace and well-organized materials. • Teamwork: Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.
