Quality and Process Supervisor

Job Summary: The Quality and Process Supervisor will lead and develop the quality management system, ensuring compliance with standards and production performance targets. Key Highlights: 1. The **Quality and Process Supervisor** will be responsible for leading and developing the quality management system across production lines, ensuring all processes comply with technical standards, performance targets, and the centesimal quality criteria required by customers and certifications ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Supervise and ensure quality compliance of metal stamping production processes, guaranteeing adherence to internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. * Ensure implementation and maintenance of quality management systems per **ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA requirements**. * Plan, execute, and monitor **internal audits**, and serve as the technical interface during external audits (certification bodies and customers). * Coordinate **dimensional control and centesimal inspection** activities, ensuring process stability and capability. * Monitor quality indicators (PPM, scrap, rework, SPC, complaint rates). * Lead investigation and resolution of **nonconformities**, applying structured root cause analysis methodologies (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys). * Define, implement, and track **corrective and preventive actions**, ensuring their effectiveness. * Participate in **process, product, and supplier qualification**, including PPAP analysis where applicable. * Support engineering and production in defining and improving processes, tooling, and inspection methods. * Promote a culture of **continuous improvement, standardization, and operational discipline**. * Lead, guide, and develop the quality team (inspectors, analysts, and technicians). * Prepare and present technical reports and management indicators to company leadership. * Serve as the technical liaison between production, engineering, customers, and suppliers on quality and process matters. * Solid experience in **metal-mechanical industry**, preferably in **metal stamping**. * Proven experience in environments requiring **high dimensional accuracy**, centesimal tolerances, and statistical process control. * Practical experience with **ISO 9001 and IATF 16949**, including active participation in audits. * Applied knowledge of **automotive manuals**: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC. * Experience managing **SPC/Statistical Process Control** and process capability analysis (Cp, Cpk). * Prior experience handling **customer complaints**, 8D reports, and action plans. * Experience leading quality or process teams. * Experience drafting and reviewing **procedures, work instructions, and control plans**. * Desirable experience with **VDA requirements** and Tier 1 / Tier 2 automotive customers. * Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management tools is desirable. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical or Bachelor’s degree in **Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering**, or related fields. * Postgraduate studies or specialization in Quality, Industrial Processes, or Industrial Management are desirable. * Strong knowledge of **metal stamping**, forming processes, and process control. * Proficiency in quality management systems **ISO 9001 and IATF 16949**. * Practical knowledge of **automotive manuals**: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC. * Extensive experience in **high-precision dimensional control**, with centesimal tolerances. * Application of **Six Sigma quality tools** and capability analysis (Cp, Cpk). * Ability to read and interpret **technical drawings**, GD&T, and customer specifications. * Experience with **internal and external audits** (system, process, and product). * Experience conducting **root cause analysis** and addressing nonconformities (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Lean Six Sigma). * Knowledge of **control plans, work instructions, and quality procedures**. * Minimum **3–5 years** of experience in **Quality and/or Industrial Process areas**. * Prior work in **automotive or metal-mechanical industry**, preferably metal stamping. * Demonstrated experience in **leading teams** (inspectors, technicians, or analysts). * Experience in industrial environments demanding **high quality standards and traceability**. * Experience in technical interaction with **customers and suppliers**. * Analytical, organized, and data-driven profile. * Technical leadership capability and influence on the shop floor. * Clear and assertive communication across all organizational levels. * Proactivity in identifying issues and implementing improvements. * Results-oriented, operationally disciplined, and committed to continuous improvement. * Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities. * Knowledge or experience with **VDA requirements** and European customers. * Formal training or certification as **ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 Internal Auditor**. * Knowledge of **Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma**. * Technical English for reading and interpreting standards and specifications. * Familiarity with **ERP
