Job Summary: Operates and maintains heavy machinery such as excavators and tractors, ensuring safety and optimal performance for excavation, grading, and material handling. Key Highlights: 1. Machinery operated includes: excavator, front-end loader, motor grader, backhoe loader, crawler tractor, agricultural tractor, and other field equipment—managing controls for gear shifting, traction, steering, excavation, cutting, and lifting while adhering to personal and property safety protocols for tasks including excavation, trenching, grading roads and yards, earth removal, waste handling, and similar material movement. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Operate field machinery by manipulating gear and steering controls, adjusting instrument panels, regulating engines or other mechanisms to position equipment according to job requirements; * Operate tracked machinery such as hydraulic excavators and bulldozers, controlling traction and hydraulic systems with due attention to safety for spreading, compacting, and covering waste; trenching; moving earth, waste, and other materials; * Operate front-end loaders, backhoe loaders, motor graders, agricultural tractors, and compacting rollers by actuating pedals and levers for control, cutting, lifting, and opening—following safety regulations for trenching, road and yard grading, soil compaction, and other related tasks; * Operate chainsaws by actuating cutting, lifting, and earth-removal levers while observing safety conditions to execute vertical drainage (PDR), assist in slope maintenance, and perform general site cleanup; * Maintain machinery by lubricating moving parts and replenishing oil, water, and/or fuel levels to ensure full operational readiness; * Report required repairs or part replacements upon detecting any abnormal operation; * Remain vigilant regarding unsafe acts or conditions within internal or third-party teams, reporting and/or taking preventive actions per institutional instructions; * Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity at the discretion of the supervisor. * Comply with policies, procedures, and standards established under the specific management system, using protective equipment, observing regulatory norms and procedures, reporting deviations, and proposing corrections for unsafe acts—thereby contributing to the implementation and maintenance of normative, legal, and regulatory requirements governing the IMS; * Participate in internal events / campaigns / training programs related to the IMS. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Primary education – 4th grade. Vocational training is desirable. * Mandatory certification for Operating Motorized Transport Machinery, compliant with NR 11. * Situational operational training on the relevant machinery for at least three (3) months, with formal authorization recognized by the supervisor. * Physical stamina, acute observation skills, sustained concentration, initiative, and strong interpersonal relationship abilities. * Minimum two (2) years of experience in this role.
