Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated General Services Assistant for laboratory cleaning, organization, and technical support, with an emphasis on safety. Key Highlights: 1. Daily cleaning and organization of the laboratory 2. Technical support including solution preparation and sterilization 3. Focus on safety and proper use of PPE We are looking for a motivated General Services Assistant to join our team. **Responsibilities** * **Cleaning and Organization:** + Perform daily cleaning of the laboratory, including workbenches, equipment, floors, and glassware. + Properly dispose of solid and liquid waste in accordance with safety protocols. + Organize materials and equipment to maintain a clean and orderly laboratory. + Restock the laboratory with cleaning supplies and other consumables. + * **Technical Support:** + Prepare solutions and reagents following instructions from technicians or researchers. + Sterilize materials and equipment as required. * **Safety:** + Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). + Follow laboratory safety procedures. + Identify and report any hazardous conditions. * **Other Responsibilities:** + Assist with other laboratory routine tasks as requested. **Requirements:** * Completed elementary education. * Prior experience in cleaning and organizational activities is preferred. * Basic knowledge of occupational hygiene and safety. * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Responsibility, organization, and attention to detail. **Skills:** * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Proactivity and initiative. * Good communication skills. * Agility and efficiency.
