A global industry leader that values diversity and inclusion. **Learn About This Opportunity** If you focus on customers and innovation, make decisions openly and transparently, appreciate and foster a respectful workplace, work multidisciplinarily, collaboratively, pragmatically, and result-oriented while taking ownership of deliverables, learn more about our **Mining Assistant** position: **Important Job Information:** * Work Location: Uberaba – Minas Gerais * Work Modality: On-site * Employment Type: Permanent * Schedule: Rotating Shifts **Responsibilities:** * Assist in production activities and area-specific mining operations, including cleaning, organizing, loading, transportation, positioning of parts and materials—per internal procedures and area safety regulations—to ensure productive processes. * Perform unloading and application of sulfuric acid, including truck reception, hose connections, container refilling, and coupling to equipment per safety regulations—aiming to maintain safe levels in tailings ponds. * Load and unload trucks/semi-trailers by attaching big bag lifting loops to front-end loaders per internal procedures for raw material receipt. * Monitor production levels and report irregularities to the immediate supervisor to prevent overflow. * Perform truck/semi-trailer tarping and untarping using a platform equipped with safety belts and PPE per current regulations. * Assist in transporting and supplying raw materials to the warehouse, using front-end loaders to fill silos feeding the plant. * Collect garbage and waste, disposing of them in appropriate containers per environmental and safety regulations. * Perform general cleaning, weeding, loading, and transportation according to daily schedules and internal procedures. * Maintain responsibility for materials and tools under one's care, ensuring their longevity. * Carry out planned tasks with guidance from more experienced professionals or the immediate manager—even without full mastery of area operations or equipment. * Comply with environmental management standards, maintaining hygiene and organization in the workplace through 6S practices. * Support senior professionals, leveraging daily interaction for personal development. **Required Knowledge and Skills:** * Completed high school education **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge/experience in mining operations Salary and benefits align with market trends for companies of our size and sector—including health insurance, performance bonuses, and meal vouchers.
