You will join a team responsible for the Audience Engine, operating cross\-ecosystem between Mercado Pago and Mercado Livre, impacting multiple business flows across several Latin American countries. You will work in a dynamic environment powered by cutting-edge technology, applying sound engineering practices, proprietary AI models, and continuous learning—all aimed at democratizing e-commerce and financial services across Latin America. Imagine yourself leading challenging, dynamic, and innovative projects and being **responsible for:** * Implementing, testing, and maintaining software solutions focused on scalability, low cost, and performance; * Collaborating with cross\-functional teams on analysis, solution design, development, and feature deployment; * Defining and monitoring technical metrics to identify opportunities for continuous product improvement; * Mentoring less-experienced colleagues, supporting their technical growth and contributing to team deliverables; * Leading strategic technical initiatives and participating in on-call rotations to support area sustainability; * Using GenAI tools such as Claude to accelerate the development lifecycle, assist in code generation and review, and propose solutions more agilely. **What we’re looking for in you?** * Solid backend development experience with Golang and/or Java, including strong software engineering practices and daily use of GenAI tools (e.g., Claude) to support code writing, review, and optimization; * Designing and consuming REST APIs with solid understanding of the HTTP protocol; * Working with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub); * Operating observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, Kibana, Grafana) for problem diagnosis and resolution; * Demonstrating proactivity, autonomy, and systemic thinking to proactively propose solutions, while collaborating effectively and maintaining a continuous drive for learning and technical growth. **Are you excited to leave your mark on Latin America’s technology landscape?** Apply now and join our mission!
