**Position Summary** **Location:** Araras\-SP **Area:** NQAC **Reports to:** Physical and Chemical Laboratory Manager **Is there any internal candidate mapped?** No **A day in the life of...** Perform physical\-chemical analyses with a focus on chemical contaminants (pesticides) and vitamins, following the integrated management procedures of NQAC\-Araras; lead and carry out the implementation of new methods; and train and develop laboratory technicians. Analytical execution: * Perform analyses according to the training needs matrix * Prepare materials/inputs for quality control analyses * Carry out activities aligned with performance indicators for service level, quality, and cost monitored by the area * Conduct critical analysis of the analytical process to ensure result reliability * Critically evaluate and issue analytical results via SAP system, data evaluation, and trend analysis * Quality Management: + Manage data to assess trends and implement preventive and corrective actions + Maintain the internal documentation system (NIMs) covering ISO 17025, NCMS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001\) + Participate in and respond to internal and external audit events + Conduct internal audits; participate in and respond to internal and external audit events + Develop protocols and reports, and execute analytical method validation + Critically evaluate and support data management for preventive and corrective action decisions * Technical Support + Deliver technical training to the team to improve performance + Provide technical support to factory laboratories, suppliers, and co\-manufacturers + Participate in working groups related to the area of expertise, including governmental institutions and NR (Nestlé Research) specialists + Participate in developing the strategic plan together with area management * Continuous Improvement + Lead continuous improvement initiatives within laboratory processes + Apply the Goal Alignment concepts implemented at the unit to define goals in the unit’s OMP + Lead and propose organizational models for the 5S program implemented at the unit + Propose improvements and accident prevention programs, as well as safe practices, together with the factory’s SHE team **What will make you successful?** Academic Qualifications: Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or related fields. Languages: Mandatory: Advanced English Desirable: Intermediate Spanish Previous Experience: Mandatory: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in physical\-chemical analysis laboratories, demonstrating solid knowledge of quantification routines for macro- and micronutrients (protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, etc.) and/or chemical contaminants (heavy metals, veterinary drugs, pesticides, etc.) in food and raw materials. Solid knowledge of instrumental techniques such as LC, GC, MS, ICP (OES and MS) for food analysis and characterization. Solid knowledge of Analytical Method Validation. Solid knowledge of continuous improvement tools (LEAN, Problem Solving, BELT training, etc).
