If you are interested, we invite you to apply—and perhaps join the **Usiminas** team! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor and optimize crushing, classification, jigging, spiral, and magnetic separation (low-, medium-, and high-intensity) operations; * Perform mass balances, metallurgical control, process analyses, and monitoring of key performance indicators (recovery rate, grade, losses); * Develop and implement continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives; * Coordinate interfaces with other departments, including maintenance, geology, mining planning, mine operations, quality, processes, and industrial engineering; * Conduct critical analysis of operational and metallurgical indicators; * Issue technical reports, analyses, and operational recommendations; * Ensure compliance with EHS standards and practices. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements** * Experience in iron ore processing operations. * Knowledge of processes: crushing, classification, jigging, spirals, and magnetic separation (LIMS, MIMS, WHIMS). * Knowledge of mass balance, metallurgy, and process and indicator analysis. **Desirable Requirements** * Experience with statistical analysis and data handling applied to industrial processes * Interpretation of metallurgical and operational indicators * Knowledge of industrial automation and instrumentation systems * Experience with continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA) * Familiarity with SAP system, especially modules for maintenance, production, and materials **Qualifications and Legal Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering. * Active registration with the Professional Regulatory Council (CREA). * Willingness to work on-site in Itatiaiuçu/MG **Additional Information** **What benefits will I receive?** * Health Insurance Plan; * Dental Insurance Plan; * Life Insurance; * Meal Card and On-Site Meals; * Private Pension Plan; * Vacation Bonus; * Wellhub/Gympass; * Profit and Results Sharing Program. **Diversity and Inclusion** **Usiminas** is becoming increasingly diverse and inclusive, believing that everyone has the potential to truly be themselves!
