




### **Job Description** We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to monitor and manage environmental operations at the facility, ensuring legal and operational compliance with a focus on environmental licensing, hazardous materials transportation, and waste management. This position will be responsible for overseeing regulatory processes, managing environmental documentation, implementing continuous improvement practices, and supporting the company’s Environmental Management System. **Responsibilities and Duties** ### **Responsibilities and Duties** * Manage all aspects of Environmental Licensing processes, including applications, renewals, follow-up requests, monitoring of conditions, and interaction with environmental agencies. * Manage and ensure compliance with applicable environmental legal requirements related to company operations. * Monitor and control all documentation associated with hazardous materials transportation, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, and procedures. * Track validity deadlines, request, and coordinate CADRI issuance and renewal processes. * Manage and monitor the imTR/MTR (Waste Transportation Manifest), ensuring traceability and compliance with legal requirements. * Update and manage the facility’s environmental aspects and impacts spreadsheet. * Implement, maintain, and review the Environmental Management System (EMS), ensuring alignment with ISO standards (especially ISO 14001). * Develop, review, and update the Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP). * Develop and update environmental area operational procedures and work instructions. * Conduct periodic environmental inspections, technical assessments, site visits, and supplier approvals when applicable. * Deliver technical training, environmental awareness sessions, and internal guidance on legal requirements. * Control and ensure proper delivery and use of PPEs and engineering controls linked to environmental activities. * Support activities related to the Integrated Management System (IMS), environmental committee meetings, and CIPA routines. * Act as the designated Technical Responsible for environmental activities at the facility, when assigned. * Assist the Occupational Safety team in specific routines, such as special service authorizations and occupational risk monitoring. * Identify, record, and track corrective and preventive actions arising from environmental non-conformities. **Requirements and Qualifications** ### **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering. * Experience with: * Environmental licensing * Hazardous materials transportation * CADRI * imTR/MTR * Knowledge of applicable environmental legislation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Environmental audit experience is desirable. * Prior knowledge of: EMS (ISO 14001), legal requirements, and SWMP is desirable. * Willingness to work onsite in Guarulhos/SP. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** * Meal Voucher (VR) * Food Voucher (VA) * Health Insurance – Unimed * Dental Insurance – Bradesco *We are over 20,000 professionals committed to developing, executing, practicing, and disseminating environmental management solutions for a more sustainable future.* **LEARN MORE ABOUT AMBIPAR:** Ambipar is a global leader in environmental solutions, investing in and operating decarbonization, circular economy, energy transition, and environmental regeneration projects.
