Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies **Description** **The Opportunity:** Hitachi Energy Brazil is seeking a dynamic and experienced Proposal Engineer to join our team. The professional will be responsible for developing competitive and comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for SCADA/EMS/ADMS solutions and projects within the Network Control area, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and Hitachi Energy standards. This position welcomes candidates with disabilities. **How You Will Make an Impact:** * Analyze and interpret technical and commercial requirements from customer proposal requests (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs). * Engage globally with Tendering Support/Operations to define the optimal system delivery strategy to be included in the proposal. * Provide inputs for the Risk Review process with Top Management in accordance with company policies and actively participate in risk assessment meetings. * Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, engineering, product development, and operations teams to gather information and define optimal solutions. * Develop detailed technical proposals, including solution architecture, scope of work, methodologies, schedules, and specifications. * Prepare commercial proposals, including cost estimates, pricing, terms and conditions, and value justifications. * Ensure proposals align with Hitachi Energy’s business strategies, internal policies, and profitability objectives. * Present and defend proposals to customers, effectively addressing questions and objections. * Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities. * Participate in proposal review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of proposal development processes. * Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. * Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, etc.) or related fields. * Experience developing technical and commercial proposals for SCADA/EMS/ADMS applications in distribution and transmission control centers. * Strong understanding of sales processes and project lifecycles. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language. * Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams. * Proactivity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. * Proficiency in office tools (MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). * Advanced English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
