Bourbon Gastronomia is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Bourbon Hotel and Suites Curitiba. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Follow established food safety practices and guidelines during food preparation; apply good hygiene practices; help ensure compliance with Bourbon Gastronomia’s sanitary standards. * Follow the Chef’s instructions for ingredient and dish preparation. * Perform vegetable cutting, food portioning, and other pre-preparations. * Ensure food quality meets established standards. * Keep the workstation clean and organized throughout the shift. * Restock supplies, utensils, and tools as needed. * Prepare mise en place to ensure efficient workflow. * Assist restaurants and private events. * Support the staff cafeteria for restocking and other buffets to minimize waste. * Comply with and enforce company policies, procedures, and regulations; REQUIREMENTS: * Completed high school education; * Completed or ongoing gastronomy course; * Relevant work experience; * Availability to work on a 6x1 rotating schedule. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Courses in the field of Gastronomy.
