This role is essential to ensure system stability, enable new business opportunities, drive continuous improvements, and deliver an excellent user experience. **Responsibilities and Duties** As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a vital role in Kapazi’s technological advancement, primarily focusing on building and sustaining integrations among internal systems, partners, and external platforms. Your day-to-day work will center on solving complex problems and ensuring systems communicate efficiently, securely, and scalably. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, maintain, and evolve APIs and integration services between internal and external systems * Build solutions connecting ERP systems, marketplace platforms, hubs, and analytical systems * Ensure performance, stability, and reliability of integrations * Participate in architectural decisions, proposing improvements and best practices * Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and issues * Support data and analytics initiatives by ensuring information quality and consistency * Collaborate with business areas to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions * Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements** ------------------------------ * Solid backend development experience, with emphasis on integrations * Strong expertise in API development (REST) * Experience with service-oriented architectures and system-to-system integrations * Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS) * Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) * Proficiency in code versioning (Git) * Ability to independently solve complex problems * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and business teams **Preferred Qualifications:** ----------------- * Experience with frameworks such as Laravel or similar * Frontend knowledge (React or similar) for reading and supporting integrations * Experience with analytics and data tools (e.g., GoodData or similar) * Experience integrating ERP systems (especially Protheus or similar) * Knowledge of messaging systems, queues, or asynchronous architectures * Experience with Docker / CI\-CD * Participation in architectural decisions or technical leadership **Additional Information**### **Here, we believe people build stories that transform spaces.** #### **Our journey began in 1978—simple, entrepreneurial, and purpose-driven.
