Career development in a dynamic environment On-site | Araucária – PR I9 TMG is seeking a **Mechanical Lathe Operator with experience in conventional lathes**, possessing a technical profile, attention to detail, and focus on quality. We seek a committed professional who works autonomously and responsibly throughout the machining process. Key Responsibilities * Interpret and analyze **mechanical technical drawings**, identifying dimensions, tolerances, surface roughness, and materials * Set up and operate a **conventional mechanical lathe**, performing full machine setup * Select appropriate cutting tools based on material and machining type * Adjust cutting parameters such as speed, feed rate, and depth of cut * Perform dimensional measurements using **calipers, micrometers, and precision instruments** * Ensure part quality by adhering to specified tolerances and surface finish requirements * Perform fine adjustments during machining to correct deviations * Carry out **basic equipment maintenance**, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection * Identify failures, tool wear, and process deviations * Work with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, bronze, among others * Follow safety regulations and maintain workplace organization (5S) * Support continuous improvement of machining processes * Record production data and part control information Work Schedule * Monday to Thursday: 07:30 AM to 5:30 PM * Friday: 07:30 AM to 4:30 PM * Overtime may be required upon supervisor’s request Requirements * Proven experience with **conventional mechanical lathes** * Knowledge of **technical drawing reading and interpretation** * Proficiency in using measuring instruments * Knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerances * Familiarity with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, etc. * Completed high school education * A technical course in the field is considered a plus Expected Technical Knowledge * Basic understanding of machining and turning processes * Interpretation of sections, cuts, and details in technical drawings * Mechanical fits, clearances, and interferences * Surface roughness and dimensional control * Reading measurements in millimeters and inches * Knowledge of machining tools * Experience with materials such as 1020, 1045, stainless steel 304, etc. Behavioral Profile * Attention to detail * Organization and discipline * Commitment to quality * Responsibility and autonomy * Focus on productivity Advantages * Experience in small-scale metallurgical environments * Ability to perform multifunctional tasks * Proactive mindset with suggestions for improvement Benefits * On-site cafeteria * Group life insurance, with no payroll deduction * Transportation allowance * Medical and dental assistance after the probation period * Attendance bonus * Pharmacy discount program and ECX card, with payroll deductions based on usage, available after the probation period How to Apply Interested candidates must apply for the position and submit their resume via the link: https://inovetmg.pythonanywhere.com/rh/vagas/ Join **I9 TMG** and grow your career with us!
