Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to strengthen the architecture, performance, availability, and scalability of Trio's data platforms. Key Highlights: 1. Our goal in hiring a Senior Data Engineer is to strengthen the architecture, performance, availability, and scalability of the data platforms supporting Trio’s financial products and operations. **Responsibilities and Duties** **What will this professional do daily?** * Act as a technical reference in the company's data platform architecture, operations, and evolution; * Administer critical high-availability and high-volume database environments; * Perform advanced performance tuning on PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, and ClickHouse; * Conduct bottleneck analysis, architectural review, and optimization of queries and workloads; * Design and evolve data pipelines and integrations between internal systems, partners, and financial institutions; * Participate in defining strategies for partitioning, retention, replication, compression, and scalability; * Manage data environment health and observability, monitoring metrics such as availability, latency, throughput, and resource consumption; * Plan and execute changes in critical databases with a focus on operational safety and risk minimization; * Support engineering and product teams in modeling data-oriented solutions; * Perform advanced troubleshooting and incident response related to the data layer; * Participate in building best practices for governance, security, and resilience of the platform; * Contribute to automation, technical documentation, and operational standardization; * Support strategic decisions regarding the technological evolution of the company’s data stack.  **Requirements and Qualifications** **Your profile must include:** * Solid experience as a Data Engineer, Senior DBA, or similar roles in mission-critical environments; * Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL; * Practical and in-depth experience with TimescaleDB; * Solid experience with ClickHouse in high-volume production environments; * Strong expertise in database tuning, query execution analysis, indexing, partitioning, and optimization strategies; * Experience with mission-critical environments demanding high availability and low latency; * Hands-on experience with replication, backup, recovery, and operational continuity strategies; * Knowledge of data modeling and performance-oriented architecture design; * Experience with Linux and infrastructure troubleshooting related to databases; * Familiarity with data environment observability and monitoring; * Knowledge of automation and infrastructure-as-code; * Strong analytical ability and a strong sense of ownership; * Ability to operate autonomously in complex, high-responsibility scenarios; * Excellent technical communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in financial, banking, fintech, or Open Finance environments; * Experience with large-scale analytical workloads; * Experience with distributed environments and event-driven architectures; * Knowledge of Kafka, Debezium, or streaming tools; * Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments; * Experience with AWS; * Knowledge of observability using Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog; * Familiarity with automation via Terraform/OpenTofu; * Certifications related to databases, cloud, or architecture; * Experience managing critical incidents and large-scale production troubleshooting. **Additional Information** **What we offer you:** * Competitive compensation and incentives; * Hybrid work model; * Unlimited snacks; * Opportunities and support for continuous learning and exploration of new topics — after all, your growth is part of ours; * Participation in highly complex technical projects with direct impact on the Brazilian financial ecosystem; * A highly collaborative environment with technical autonomy and space for leadership. #### **Our mission is to improve financial flow with cutting-edge infrastructure.** That’s why we seek and develop talent focused on the future.
