this opportunity!** -------------------------------------------------- **Your main tasks and responsibilities include:** ------------------------------------------------------------- * **Interpret drawings and specifications, verifying operation sequences to initiate the assembly or disassembly process of parts and/or equipment.** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Assemble machines and equipment by joining assemblies, parts, and components using appropriate tools, based on drawings and procedures, to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Adjust machines and equipment by verifying part dimensions and tolerances using precision instruments, to comply with technical instructions.** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Inspect equipment components during assembly and adjust them, if necessary, using sanders, files, and other appropriate equipment.** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic tests on equipment using pressure gauges to verify pressure, and notify Quality Control for part and/or equipment release.** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * **Clean parts and components using solvents to prepare them for use.** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Operate overhead cranes by appropriately activating controls for each type of operation, to transport parts within the factory and assist in assembly operations.** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * **Inspect and perform lubrication of machines, applying the required amount of lubricant to ensure proper equipment performance.** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Conduct functional tests on rotating equipment, observing operation and performance to detect possible abnormalities and carry out necessary repairs.** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Assist in preparing hydraulic and pneumatic equipment assembly, as well as pressure testing, to ensure efficiency, quality, reliability, and operational safety.** * **Develop special devices and tools to facilitate assembly and disassembly.** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Train new employees on overhead crane operation.** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * **Maintain equipment, tools, measuring instruments, and service quality, promoting workplace organization, cleanliness, and maintenance to optimize service quality levels.** **To succeed in this position, it is important to have:** ------------------------------------------------ * **Technical Course in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent higher education qualification.** ---------------------------------------------------------------- * **Solid experience as an assembly mechanic—specifically with paper and pulp equipment.** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * **Knowledge of hydraulics, lubrication, pneumatics, and drawing reading and interpretation.** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Knowledge of bearing adjustments and seal assembly.** -------------------------------------------------------------- * **Overhead Crane Operator Certification.** --------------------------------------- * **Initiative, proactivity, organizational and
