Cloud Specialist - Mid-Level

Description

**We are looking for someone to perform the following activities:** a) Architect, provision, and manage workloads on public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), applying best practices required by AWS CSA/DevOps, Azure Solutions/DevOps Expert, and Google Cloud Architect/DevOps certifications. b) Manage Linux and Windows environments at scale, performing hardening, automated patching, and performance troubleshooting. c) Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, and Ansible, ensuring version control, code reviews, and traceability. d) Implement comprehensive observability strategies, configuring metrics and alerts in Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and Google Cloud Operations Suite. e) Define and apply cloud security and networking controls, including VPC/VNet design, VPNs, managed firewalls, IAM, Zero Trust policies, and key management (KMS). f) Orchestrate container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) with emphasis on high availability, horizontal scalability, storage management, and zero-downtime upgrades, aligned with CKA/CKAD competencies. g) Build and operate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps, automating tests, builds, stages, and blue\-green/canary deployments. h) Design and integrate serverless solutions (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, EventBridge/PubSub), optimizing latency and cost. i) Monitor and optimize resource consumption using FinOps tools, instance reservations, auto-scaling, and rightsizing recommendations to reduce cloud OPEX. j) Model and govern distributed data, incorporating lifecycle policies, classification of sensitive data, encryption in transit/at rest, and cross\-region backups. k) Lead migrations and multi\-cloud/hybrid strategies, evaluating compatibility, re\-hosting, re\-platforming, and designing standardized landing zones. l) Automate operational workflows via scripts in Python, PowerShell, or Shell (Bash), integrating cloud APIs and ticketing/ITSM tools. **What skills are required:** a) Must be of legal age; b) Diploma or certificate, duly registered, confirming completion of an undergraduate degree in Information Technology, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC). c) Hold one of the following certifications: 1\) AWS: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer 2\) Azure: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert 3\) Google Cloud: Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer 4\) Kubernetes: CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) d) Minimum of 3 (three) years of proven professional experience covering the following tools and knowledge areas: d.1\) Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc). d.2\) Administration of Linux and Windows servers. d.3\) Automation with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc. d.4\) Monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch). d.5\) Cloud networking and security (firewalls, VPNs, IAM, Zero Trust). d.6\) Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). d.7\) DevOps and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). d.8\) Serverless architecture (Lambda, Functions, API Gateway). d.9\) Cloud cost management and resource optimization. d.10\) Data modeling and governance in distributed environments. d.11\) Experience with multi\-cloud and workload migration. d.12\) Programming in Python, PowerShell, or Shell Script for automation.
