We are seeking a Welding Robot Programmer to develop, program, and optimize robotic welding processes.
Key Highlights:
1. Program welding robots and conduct trial runs and validation of new programs.
2. Develop and optimize welding trajectories, ensuring weld bead quality.
3. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to analyze defects.
**About the position:**
We are seeking a Welding Robot Programmer to develop, program, and optimize robotic welding processes. This professional will be responsible for ensuring quality, productivity, and stability of automated processes.
Key Responsibilities
Program welding robots (MIG/MAG, TIG – as applicable)
Conduct trial runs and validation of new programs
Adjust welding parameters (current, voltage, speed, gas, etc.)
Develop and optimize welding trajectories
Monitor production and correct process failures
Reduce cycle time and increase productivity
Ensure weld bead quality per specifications
Develop and adjust welding fixtures (jigs)
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams
Analyze defects (porosity, lack of fusion, distortion, etc.)
Perform basic programming maintenance on robots
Document processes and parameters
Requirements
Technical or undergraduate degree in: Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
Experience programming welding robots
Knowledge of welding processes (primarily MIG/MAG)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Knowledge of fixturing devices (jigs)
Basic understanding of welding quality
