**About the Role** ---------------- We are looking for a Product Engineer who builds products with a vision for impact, quality, and scale. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys: * Building end-to-end products * Working closely with real business metrics * Supporting experimentation, continuous evolution, and data-driven decisions * Solving complex problems related to data ingestion, quality, and traceability **Your Role in the Team** --------------------- As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for structuring, evolving, and scaling our data governance and management platform—ensuring it is: * Technically sound * Scalable * Observable * Ready to support data ingestion, processing, and consumption with quality and traceability You will act as a direct partner to the data team, enabling: * Reliable ingestion and transformation pipelines * Data catalog and discovery with semantic search * Automated quality control (Health Score, alerts, SLAs) * End-to-end traceability (lineage, auditing, logs) **Responsibilities and Duties** ----------------------------------- Day-to-day, you will: * Lead the technical development of platform modules (Ingestion, Consumer, Data Engineering, Admin), focusing on impact and scalability * Engage in fullstack development, participating across the entire product lifecycle * Design solutions ready for data governance, quality metrics, and continuous learning * Build and evolve data ingestion, transformation, and publishing pipelines * Implement observability mechanisms: execution logs, performance metrics, pipeline-level Health Score, and intelligent alerts * Collaborate with UX/UI to ensure consistent and scalable experiences across catalog, discovery, and access management interfaces * Contribute to maintenance, evolution, and refactoring of existing systems * Define and evolve architecture, standards, and best practices * Evaluate and support adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and tools * Ensure alignment among business rules, product goals, and technical implementation You’ll have context, autonomy, and partnership to turn product decisions into high-impact deliveries. **What We Expect From You** --------------------------- * Product mindset—not just a coding mindset * Genuine interest in understanding how what you build delivers value to data producers and consumers * Ability to balance speed with quality * Strong communication skills within multidisciplinary teams (Product, UX, Data Engineering) **Requirements** -------------- * Experience with Node.js and TypeScript; * Experience with frontend development using React.js; * Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases; * Experience with Git and version control; * Knowledge of REST APIs and service consumption; * Familiarity with data engineering concepts (pipelines, ETL/ELT, batch and streaming ingestion). Nice-to-Haves * Experience with cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP) * Experience with data platforms, data lakes, or data warehouses * Knowledge of pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or similar) * Experience with observability and monitoring of data systems * Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data lineage concepts * Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or similar) * Experience with AI agents or intelligent automations applied to data
