Job Summary: A professional responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising occupational safety programs, aiming to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations. Occupational Safety Training and Communication Description: Mandatory: * Bachelor's degree in a related field * Postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering * Certification as an Occupational Safety Engineer registered with the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy (CREA) Desirable: * Planning and Development of Programs * Proposing internal occupational safety rules and regulations aligned with legislation. * Risk Identification and Analysis * Inspecting and evaluating safety conditions at workplaces, facilities, and equipment. * Conducting expert assessments, issuing technical opinions and reports on the degree of exposure to harmful agents (physical, chemical, and biological), classifying activities as unhealthy or hazardous. * Analyzing accidents and failures, investigating their causes, guiding statistical studies, and proposing preventive and corrective measures. * Implementation of Control Measures * Planning, developing, and implementing techniques related to risk management and control. * Recommending and monitoring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), verifying their quality and effectiveness. * Studying and designing fire and explosion protection systems; developing and coordinating Emergency and Disaster Plans. * Promoting the elimination or minimization of hazardous areas. * Training and Communication * Developing and delivering general and specific occupational safety training programs for all employees. * Organizing and supervising activities of the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA). * Clarifying and advising contractors and other institutional departments regarding compliance with safety regulations. * Disseminating occupational safety information and topics. * Monitoring and Auditing * Regularly inspecting organizational areas and equipment from hygiene and safety perspectives. * Managing compliance with Regulatory Standards (NRs) and other applicable laws. * Maintaining accident records and analyzing accident statistics to guide prevention efforts and calculate costs. * Preparing periodic reports on occupational safety activities. 2511300202181896295
