In our Statement of Intent for Inclusion & Diversity, we believe: *In an inclusive culture and environment: we offer equal opportunities for all to demonstrate their potential and benefit from the richness of their ideas.* *In a Diverse Workforce: people from all backgrounds—with diverse experiences, preferences, and beliefs—are recognized, respected, and valued from multiple perspectives.* Register now and join us in transforming our surroundings—and, in doing so, improving the world! **Responsibilities and Duties** * The Cybersecurity Operations Analyst is responsible for protecting NSG Group’s information systems and networks by monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities. * Respond to and investigate global, high-complexity technical cybersecurity incidents and conduct Incident Response in accordance with agreed-upon procedures. * Identify process improvements and ensure SLA and operational KPI performance as agreed upon with business stakeholders. * Ensure Health, Safety, and Quality are central to all workplace activities; * Maintain and optimize security monitoring tools, driving improvements in detection and response processes; * Ensure continuous visibility of the organization’s digital environment to detect suspicious or malicious activity in real time; * Provide Level 3 technical troubleshooting, incident, and cybersecurity problem support (based on ITIL); * Ensure operational stability by maximizing infrastructure availability through monitoring, distribution, and control mechanisms; * Comply with General Digital Controls, J-SOX (audit controls), and security frameworks across all operational activities—including data regulations such as GDPR and LGPD; * Participate in local, regional, and global projects, collaborating with colleagues and other teams as applicable; * Interact with external vendors for services, support, and maintenance when required; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Serve as a first-line defender in identifying and handling cyber incidents; * Incident Response: \*Investigate security incidents to determine their scope and impact; * Respond to detected incidents, contain threats, and mitigate risks; * Support or conduct forensic analyses to identify root causes of security breaches; * Document and report incidents to management, including improvement recommendations; * Maintain documentation such as incident reports and playbooks; * Recommend enhancements to detection and response capabilities; \- Operate and manage security tools, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, SWG, SEG, and Anti-Virus; * Proficiency in data analysis and understanding of cyberattack techniques; * Continuously monitor network traffic, systems, and logs to detect potential threats; * Ensure security processes align with established policies and regulations; * Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., KQL, Python, Bash, PowerShell); * Strong understanding of network protocols, system configurations, and common attack methods; * This role also requires the incumbent to be comfortable making support decisions and capable of interpreting information obtained during system management and monitoring activities to effectively resolve incidents and problems; * Advanced English proficiency—both verbal and written; * Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for analyzing complex security events; * Strong written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting and collaboration; * Attention to detail to ensure thorough analysis of security data; * Experience in dynamic operational environments; * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively; Excellent verbal and written communication; * Desirable: * Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and Cyber Kill Chain; * Certifications – CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-200, Incident Handler (GIAC, EC-Council, etc.); **Additional Information** **WE ARE NSG GROUP** ------------------- The NSG Group is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of architectural, automotive, and technical glass, leveraging technology to drive corporate growth.
