Assess and size locations for the installation of refrigeration, heating, and air-conditioning equipment. Specify materials and accessories, and install, as well as perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration and ventilation equipment. Install duct branches, assemble refrigeration piping, apply vacuum to refrigeration systems. Charge refrigeration systems with refrigerant fluid and conduct tests on refrigeration systems. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the following equipment: Window Air Conditioners (WAC), Portable Air Conditioners, Evaporative Coolers, Mini and Multi Splits, Fans, Exhaust Fans, Air Curtains, Water Coolers and Purifiers, Refrigerators, Air Filters, Droplet Eliminators, Dampers, and Ice Machines. * Install piping and drains * Interconnect evaporator and condenser units * Interpret standards and procedures for equipment installation * Mark positions (or installation locations) of duct branches * Assemble and secure components (ducts) * Attach air flow control dampers * Secure supply and return grilles * Apply thermal insulation to duct branches and piping * Seal connection joints * Level and secure piping and equipment * Weld pipes and fittings * Perform pre-cleaning of piping * Plug and pressurize piping with nitrogen * Monitor gauge pressure * Attach vibration-damping flexible joints * Be responsible for Health and Safety, and implement the norms, procedures, and guidelines of the Health and Safety Management System Requirements: Relevant work experience.
