




1. Technical Knowledge Basic knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems (air conditioning, cold rooms, chillers, industrial freezers). Understanding of refrigeration components and circuits, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, valves, thermostats, and fans. Ability to read refrigeration diagrams and schematics. Knowledge of handling refrigerant fluids, their characteristics, and environmental regulations (prohibition and safe management of CFCs and HFCs). **Knowledge of measuring instruments:** pressure gauge, thermometer, multimeter, and vacuum gauge. Basic knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures in refrigeration systems. Understanding of electrical safety and refrigerant gas regulations. 2. Operational Skills Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on low-complexity refrigeration equipment. Cleaning, inspection, and replacement of filters, belts, fans, and simple components. Assisting in refrigerant fluid recharge, under supervision, respecting environmental regulations. Support in assembling and disassembling refrigeration equipment. Filling out service orders and simple maintenance reports. Identifying faults and reporting complex issues to the supervisor or higher-level mechanic. 3. Safety Skills Strict adherence to safety regulations, including NR-10 (electrical safety) and NR-13 when applicable. Proper use of PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, boots, and respiratory masks. Attention to risks from high pressure, electric shocks, refrigerant fluids, and mechanical movements. Safe operation of tools, equipment, and handling of refrigerant gases. 4. Behavioral Skills Attention to detail and commitment to service quality. Organization and discipline in using tools, equipment, and completing records. Teamwork, collaborating with colleagues, supervisors, and other maintenance areas. Proactivity in identifying minor issues and suggesting improvements. Responsibility and commitment to deadlines, regulations, and quality standards. Willingness to learn new maintenance techniques and refrigeration equipment operations. Technical or vocational training in refrigeration, air conditioning, or refrigeration mechanics is desirable. Previous experience in maintenance of refrigeration or air conditioning systems is a plus. Basic knowledge of PPE and applicable safety regulations.
