We are seeking a talent to fill the role of System Controller/Operator I. **Let’s transform collaboration into results—together?** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Activities to Be Performed** Operate the Medium Voltage electrical system in real time, monitoring response and execution times per service base, performing switching operations on the distribution electrical system, in compliance with current operational procedures and established safety criteria. **Main Responsibilities:** * Dispatch and manage incidents in the Medium Voltage system, adhering to priority criteria defined in operational procedures. * Assign and manage individual incidents, ensuring compliance with prescribed response priorities outlined in procedures. * Ensure compliance in closing emergency incidents, as stipulated in operational procedures and certification scope. * Guarantee minimum required assignment for individual billing per team, timely, to sustain productivity. * Assign and manage commercial services and special requests, observing deadlines and productivity requirements. * Manage scheduled outages under execution—including incident opening and tracking of planned start and completion deadlines, per procedure. * Use available communication systems appropriately to support operations. * Perform scheduled and emergency switching operations on the Medium Voltage system, per switching plans or operational instructions. * Mobilize additional resources during unscheduled incidents in the electrical system (e.g., broken pole, burnt transformer, etc.), when necessary. * Ensure compliance with intervention requests for **live-line work**, adopting necessary measures to guarantee safe execution. * Monitor real-time commercial and technical performance indicators. * Communicate relevant information about the electrical system clearly and objectively to concerned areas, using the company’s official communication channels. * Know, apply, and monitor established contingency plans. * Manage switching operations and maintain operational management systems and **SCADA** updated, aligned with field configuration. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education Level:** Technical **Required Qualification:** Technical Diploma in Electrotechnology **Courses and Specializations:** Participation in training courses and/or specializations related to power system operation and distribution networks is desirable. **Technical Competencies:** * Ability to perform assigned duties **under supervision**, in compliance with operational procedures and safety standards. * Experience using **OPER, SAP\-CCS, Elipse Power, SIGA, and Action View** systems. * Basic knowledge of **Microsoft Office** (Word, Excel, Outlook), applied to support operational and administrative routines. **Additional Information** **Why Apply:** Joining Grupo Equatorial means becoming part of an expanding company whose culture emphasizes continuous development, talent diversity, and commitment to the future.
