




**Activities:** The **Tax Assistant** professional will be responsible for carrying out and supporting tax-related routines, ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of information, services, and records under their responsibility, always in accordance with current tax, fiscal, and corporate legislation. Main activities: * Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of information and services generated by tax-related activities under their responsibility; * Actively contribute to tax department processes by proposing improvements and suggestions aimed at optimizing results and operational efficiency; * Perform entries, updates, and registrations in the **Tax Ledgers**, ensuring proper compliance with legal requirements; * Reconcile and supplement, when necessary, entries automatically generated by the tax information system; * Perform calculations related to **differences in tax rates**, completing collection documents and other forms required by legislation; * Provide, organize, and monitor documentation requested by **external auditors**, presenting tax records and providing additional clarifications whenever necessary; * Complete application forms for **authorization to print tax documents**, arranging and attaching all required documentation for submission to printing service providers; * Verify and compare information on **tax invoices** against data entered into the system, analyzing amounts, applicable taxes, and calculations performed; * Identify, correct, or flag tax and fiscal discrepancies, in compliance with administrative and legal requirements; * Report non-conformities to the area responsible for data entry, requesting appropriate accounting and tax corrections; * Forward tax documents for archiving at the **Documentation Center**, advising on legal deadlines and appropriate storage methods; * Safeguard departmental assets, requesting maintenance, repair, or replacement whenever necessary; * Support immediate leadership with requests related to the tax department, reporting irregularities, analyzing problems, and assisting in defining procedures and corrective actions; * Carry out other related activities as directed by immediate leadership. **Education:** * **Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree**, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. **Required Knowledge:** * Knowledge of **tax and fiscal legislation**; * Familiarity with tax calculation and control routines.
