Responsibilities: **The Opportunity** Perform physicochemical analysis in foods using Basic and High\-Technology Instrumentation in the analytical laboratory obtaining analytical insights needed to support new product development for R\&D innovation agenda. The position will support product development for Foods and Beverage categories for all LATAM South region. **Your Impact** * Perform Foods Testing using Basic and High Technology Instrumentation \- examples are: Gas and Liquid Chromatography, IR, NIR and and UV\-VIS Spectroscopy, NMR Technology and others analysis in raw materials and finished products; * Implementation and Validation of new Analytical Methods in R\&D Analytical Laboratory according to PepsiCo Global Protocol; * Development of Specific Instruments Calibrations for New Products; * Collaborate with Global Communities on key analytical initiatives around the globe; * Elaboration of Laboratory Operating Procedures; * Provide Training to Lab Technicians in the analytical laboratory; * Perform Basic maintenance to High Technology Instrumentation; * Laboratory consumables and chemicals inventory management; * Connect with different areas such as Sensory, Regulatory, Nutrition Sciences, attending the R\&D innovation model; * Support QA activities into the Analytical function; * Perform statistical evaluation; Qualifications: **Who Are We Looking For?** * A graduate of the career of Food Chemistry, Food Scientist or related. * Languages: Portuguese (native), Spanish Advanced, English: Conversational / Technical fluency * Basic software management (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) * Statistical tools knowledge If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
