Workshop Assistant

Job Summary: Assist mechanics with assembly, disassembly, and organization of parts, tools, and the workplace in a workshop. Key Highlights: 1. Direct assistance in mechanical tasks and assembly/disassembly of parts 2. Responsibility for organizing and maintaining tools and the work environment 3. Essential support to the mechanic team in the workshop JOB REQUIREMENTS: Basic-level training in vehicle mechanics and/or electricity is desirable, and/or experience working in mechanics. If high school has not been completed, ongoing enrollment must be verified. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist mechanics, assemble and disassemble parts and accessories, clean parts, organize/disinfect and maintain tools; Retrieve parts and tools from the warehouse to deliver to mechanics; Organize the workplace, workbenches, and parts currently being installed on vehicles; Other duties typical of a workshop assistant.
