Care for the organization and maintenance of machines and materials Work in the Cutting Department, performing cuts on leather, linings, and fabrics; responsible for efficiently and safely operating and maintaining the cutting machine, ensuring compliance with work orders and the quality of cut materials, as well as carrying out other related and inherent duties. 1\. Carefully read the daily work order, verifying reference and pair quantity, and enter the information into the cutting machine's operating system. 2\. Power on and off the cutting machine daily, following the manufacturer's instructions to ensure correct usage and extend the machine's service life. 3\. Receive materials to be cut—such as hides and linings—and verify their quality, quantity, and specifications against the work order. 4\. Program the cutting machine according to the work order, selecting necessary parameters such as cuts, scoring, perforations, and part identification. 5\. Select the work order reference in the system and manually position parts to maximize utilization of the available usable area. 6\. Collect reusable material scraps, classifying them by article, measuring them on the leather measuring machine, and recording information for return to inventory. 7\. Collect non-reusable material waste and dispose of it appropriately. 8\. Replace accessories (blades, punches, scorers) as needed to keep the machine in optimal working condition. 9\. Maintain and clean the machine, removing residues and contacting technical support for repairs when necessary. 10\. Ensure organization, cleanliness, and preservation of machines and materials in the area.
