About the Opportunity
A law firm is seeking a Legal Controller to organize and monitor the legal team’s operational workflows, ensuring proper deadline management, task distribution, and adherence to internal procedures.
This opportunity is intended for Law Graduates, with or without an active Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) registration, who demonstrate an organized, analytical, meticulous, and detail-oriented profile, along with familiarity with law firm routines and process management.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor legal controller activities;
* Monitor procedural and administrative deadlines;
* Register and track cases in legal systems;
* Verify publications, notifications, and procedural movements;
* Distribute tasks and monitor team workload execution;
* Organize schedules for hearings, expert evaluations, investigations, and procedural commitments;
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures and standards;
* Generate performance indicators, reports, and managerial information;
* Standardize legal department workflows and procedures;
* Identify inefficiencies and propose internal process improvements;
* Support management and other professionals at the firm;
* Ensure operational quality and procedural information security.
Requirements
* Completed undergraduate degree in Law;
* Active or inactive OAB registration;
* Experience in law firms or legal departments;
* Knowledge of legal controller functions and process management;
* Familiarity with electronic case files and legal systems;
* Experience managing deadlines, publications, and task distribution;
* Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
* Postgraduate degree in Civil Procedure, Legal Management, or related fields;
* Experience implementing or restructuring a legal controller function;
* Knowledge of indicator-based management and report preparation;
* Experience designing internal workflows and procedures;
* Experience working in high-volume litigation law firms;
* Familiarity with Social Security and/or Labor Law routines.
