The role ensures compliance with the company’s safety and organizational standards within the industrial area. It involves performing internal logistics activities (material handling) in the industrial area and surrounding factory premises. The position supports the SSTMA and Facilities Supervisor in organizing the factory floor, material flow, safety standards, cleaning, and related tasks. It assists in implementing certain improvement initiatives and supports various operations across the industrial area as needed—ranging from production-related activities to organizing common areas and executing sustainable practices in solid waste management. Key responsibilities include: * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the industrial area related to 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain). * Performing assigned tasks in accordance with safety, cleanliness, and organization standards for both the factory floor and external factory areas. * Providing production support across various factory activities, as required and directed by the SSTMA and Facilities Supervisor. * Managing weighing and movement of factory scrap materials. * Maintaining organization in both internal and external factory areas. * Assisting in solid waste management through implementation of sustainable practices; ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and related legislation. * Suggesting minor improvements to assigned tasks or processes in which the employee participates. * Performing minor building repairs involving plumbing and civil works. **Requirements:** **Academic background:** Completed high school education. **Knowledge:** Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance and conservation routines, operational support activities, or services provided in an industrial setting (2 years preferred); basic knowledge of plumbing and civil construction; finishing and building repairs; organization and cleaning; use of forms; 5S methodology. **Competencies:** Oral communication; internal logistics; problem solving; proactivity; resilience; basic knowledge of proper PPE usage; ability to follow procedures and operational standards; organization of materials and production areas; maintenance of the work environment; **Skills:** Interpersonal skills; teamwork; commitment to rules and procedures; experience with minor building repairs; What benefits do we offer? * Working at a company that values its employees’ quality of life; * Transportation Allowance or Mobility benefit via Swile card; * Meal/Voucher Allowance via Swile card; * Health Assistance via Swile card; * Health insurance plan; * Dental insurance plan; * Chartered transportation from downtown Novo Hamburgo to the company; * Birthday day off with gift; * Cafeteria offering breakfast and lunch; * Fruit Day; * Employee care program featuring various initiatives throughout the year; * Group life insurance; * Participation in events and training sessions.
