**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Plan, lead, and carry out inspections and preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on substation and transmission line equipment and installations, as well as perform complementary maneuvers on power system equipment, ensuring continuous electricity supply according to standards required by regulatory bodies and the company;
* Ensure asset reliability and efficiency through service execution and achievement of established targets;
* Perform thermographic inspections;
* Assist in equipment replacement and upgrades;
* Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all substation equipment;
* Investigate existing faults and perform necessary repairs based on manufacturer manuals, maintenance criteria, and electrical diagrams;
* Conduct tests, disassemble and reassemble defective equipment and installations, removing worn or damaged parts and replacing them, while observing manufacturer specifications, standards, and tolerances;
* Operate testing and measurement devices;
* Collect insulating oil samples for submission to contracted laboratories for analysis;
* Promote environmental conservation and protection;
* Perform minor painting tasks on equipment and metal structures to maintain protection, preservation, and signage;
* Safeguard tools, vehicles, instruments, equipment, safety materials, documentation, and other company assets under their responsibility;
* Participate in on-call duty schedules when required; use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPC);
* Conduct periodic inspections of stations to identify potential anomalies in equipment, metal and concrete structures, yards, and buildings, ensuring civil maintenance and general cleanliness;
* Keep station yards clean, remove weeds from gravel and paved areas, maintain green spaces, and perform general cleaning;
* Know, disseminate, and apply current technical, environmental, and occupational safety procedures and standards within the company;
* Communicate with COGT and request permission to begin work on the power system;
* Verify switching operations prior to starting work;
* Supervise contracted services, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and company procedures and standards, as well as evaluating service providers;
* Ensure personal and third-party safety;
* Gather field and report data to support quality index analysis, contributing to the maintenance process by proposing corrective and preventive actions;
* Assist in commissioning activities;
* Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity level.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
* Education: Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* Software: Office proficiency; SAP knowledge desirable
* Experience: Knowledge of Power Systems, Transmission Lines, and Substations
* Experience in Power or Industrial Electrical Systems
* Candidates must be flexible with working hours due to possible participation in on-call shifts, including holidays, weekends, and overnight emergencies;
* Must hold a valid driver's license (Category B) for 4x4 pickup trucks and be registered with the professional council;
* Will work at the Porto Velho Substation, also covering the Porto Velho – Abunã 230 kV transmission line;
