Job Summary: A professional responsible for ensuring the supply of raw materials and supplies, seeking the lowest price, shortest lead time, and highest quality, with emphasis on supplier negotiation and management. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure supply with focus on price, delivery time, and quality. 2. Strategic supplier negotiation and management. 3. Research of alternative products and cost optimization. **Purchaser \- PJ** **Mission**: Ensure the supply of production inputs and other materials used by the company at the lowest possible price, while meeting established standards for delivery time and quality of products and services. **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Purchaser, evidenced by PJ or CLT contract; * Knowledge of construction industry materials and equipment; * Experience in logistics and industrial sectors is a plus. **Job Description** **Responsibilities**: * Receive requisitions from Engineering/Administration/Warehouse staff and conduct quotations. * Prepare and balance the Competitive Quotation Table (CQT) with supplier proposals, aligned with project cost centers. * Develop, update, and maintain the project priority list (CQT Control). * Negotiate with suppliers to finalize purchases under optimal conditions regarding price, quality, technical specifications, and delivery schedule. * Request analysis and approval from the responsible department upon completion of the CQT process. * Execute purchases after approval by the responsible department; simultaneously submit payment terms and registration details. * Review and correct, if necessary, and forward required documents to the Administration Department for Service Authorization (SA) issuance. * Monitor delivery processes until full fulfillment of all negotiated terms. * Monitor return procedures for goods delivered non-conforming to purchase orders. * Update supplier price lists for goods and internally disseminate this information to relevant departments. * Register new suppliers for inquiries and quotations as needed (update Vendorlist). * Research alternative products, based on production process feasibility, to improve product quality and reduce production costs. * Handle emergency purchases or ensure timely delivery thereof. * Contract non-technical services and ensure their execution. * Forward immediate-payment requests to Finance. * Generate statistical procurement reports and present them during periodic meetings. * Verify quality and credibility of the manufacturer of the product to be procured. **Supervision**: * Supervise machine-hour logging (e.g., Retros, Pipa, Trucks, etc.) * Supervise control of leased machinery/equipment * Supervise inventory control, respecting critical stock levels for the project * Supervise control of materials/services to be deducted from contractors during progress billing **Competencies**: * Logical reasoning; * Confidence; * Self-accountability; * Negotiation skills; * Organizational ability; * Sense of priority and urgency; * Attention to detail; * Observation and market awareness (continuous learning); * Ownership mindset. **Education**: * Completed high school * Degree in Business Administration and/or STEM fields is a plus * Postgraduate studies or extension courses in negotiation, inventory management, etc., are advantageous * Advanced Excel proficiency * Microsoft Office suite Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
