Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to work on retaining wall construction and structural reinforcement projects, ensuring project execution, quality, and safety. Management of field teams, contractors, and suppliers **Civil Engineer – Technical Construction Projects (RJ)** **Location:** Rio de Janeiro – On-site at construction sites **Company:** AJIL ENGENHARIA **Employment Type:** PJ or CLT (to be negotiated) **Start Date:** Immediate **ABOUT THE POSITION** We seek an **experienced Civil Engineer**, with strong technical expertise and a field-oriented profile, to work on specific projects involving **retaining wall construction (retention / boundary walls)** and **structural reinforcement of canopies**. The professional will be responsible for **execution, quality control, safety, and technical supervision**, ensuring adherence to deadlines and specifications. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Monitor and inspect civil works execution on-site (retaining walls and canopies) * Prepare or review the physical\-financial project schedule * Manage field teams, contractors, and suppliers * Issue and sign technical ARTs (Execution, Reinforcement, Retention) * Perform measurements, technical reports, and photographic documentation * Ensure compliance with design documents, technical standards, and legal requirements * Control material usage and propose on-site technical solutions * Apply FVS (Service Verification Sheet) and AJIL ENGENHARIA standard procedures * Report project progress to management and end clients * Supervise occupational safety in coordination with the safety technician **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with active CREA registration in RJ) * Proven experience in: * Retaining wall construction (retention, masonry, gabion, hybrid structures) * Structural reinforcement (canopies, beams, columns, anchor bolts, concrete) * Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings * Proficiency in basic construction tools (Excel, Trello, scheduling software) * Strong communication skills with clients, suppliers, and operational teams **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Postgraduate degree in Structures or Construction Pathologies * Knowledge of structural assessment reports and building inspections * Experience working in condominiums or environments with time restrictions * Familiarity with AutoCAD or MS Project Job Type: Temporary Contract Duration: 4 months Compensation: R$2\.091,97 \- R$9\.661,13 per month
