**Technical Estimator** We are seeking a Public Works Estimator responsible for the preparation, analysis, and control of technical and financial budgets for public construction projects. The professional will be responsible for interpreting project designs, cost composition, preparing budget spreadsheets, and supporting bidding processes in accordance with current legislation. **Main Responsibilities** \- Prepare detailed budget spreadsheets based on executive project designs and descriptive specifications; \- Perform quantitative surveys of materials, equipment, and services; \- Calculate direct and indirect costs (inputs, labor charges, BDI, taxes, freight, etc.); \- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for public bids (Law No. 14\.133/2021); \- Analyze bidding notices and terms of reference for tenders, price quotations, and auctions; \- Update and maintain databases of inputs and cost compositions (SINAPI, EMOP, SCO, etc.); \- Support the engineering department in assessing the technical and financial feasibility of construction projects; \- Prepare reports comparing estimated versus actual costs.
