Stay updated on pastry trends and techniques A supermarket is seeking a Pastry Chef in Petrópolis (Downtown). **Responsibilities:** Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products, such as cakes, pies, cookies, cupcakes, and sweets. Create and decorate desserts according to customer specifications or established recipes. Ensure the quality of bakery products by adhering to hygiene and food safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workplace, including cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils. Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for bakery production. Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure operational efficiency and product quality. Follow recipes and preparation instructions precisely to ensure product consistency. Stay current with pastry trends and techniques to offer innovative, high-quality products. Interact with customers to understand their preferences and needs, ensuring customer satisfaction.
