Water Treatment Technician

Rotational operation in the municipalities of Juquitiba and São Lourenço da Serra \- MARSHALL SCHEDULE, starting from the Juquitiba Water Treatment Plant (ETA). \*\*\* Sabesp (Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo) is responsible for supplying water and for sewage collection and treatment in 377 municipalities in the state of São Paulo, serving 28 million people. This is the Sabesp way of being, transforming the present, and preparing the future. **Responsibilities and duties** * Operate and monitor water treatment plant (ETA) equipment such as flocculators, clarifiers, filters, and chemical dosing systems. * Control coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection processes. * Assist in sample collection and perform basic physical\-chemical and microbiological analyses in the laboratory or field. * Check parameters such as pH, turbidity, residual chlorine, color, among others. * Prepare and dose chemicals such as chlorine, aluminum sulfate, lime, and fluoride. * Monitor inventory and consumption of chemical inputs used in treatment. * Monitor corrective and preventive maintenance activities. * Fill out production reports, water quality, product consumption, and operational incidents. * Keep records required by regulatory agencies up to date. * Ensure compliance with health surveillance, environmental, and occupational safety regulations. * Act preventively to avoid contamination and supply interruptions. * Respond to system failures, leaks, or contamination incidents. * Participate in contingency plans. **Requirements and qualifications** * High school technical degree in Chemistry, Environment, Sanitation, or related fields; * Registration with the professional council. * Desired: National Driver's License (CNH) **Additional information** * Medical insurance * Private pension plan * Meal allowance (VR) and food allowance (VA) * Transportation voucher * Christmas basket * Additional holiday bonus * Birthday day off * Extended maternity leave * Extended paternity leave * Childcare allowance for mothers and fathers * Wellhub (Gympass) partnership * Profit Sharing Program – PPR The new Sabesp is much more than a sanitation company.
