What We Expect From You? Desired Profile: * Mandatory academic qualification: Completed Higher Education. * Main responsibilities: Manage and organize the library collection through planning, user service, maintenance, statistical control, activity reporting, project development, and supervision of staff and/or interns. Control, execute, and evaluate acquisition, technical processing, disposal, storage, and availability of the institution’s documentary collection. Disseminate information to facilitate access to knowledge. Monitor the entry and exit of books and other materials available for loan, performing analysis and verification. Classify and prepare catalogs for books, periodicals, and audiovisual materials. Prepare books and periodicals for restoration or binding. Research books and publications, recommending their acquisition. Assess the library’s needs and liaise with publishers for material procurement. Inform users about book titles and topics of interest to clients. Provide support to all libraries within the organization. Assist faculty and students in research, guiding them according to the subject matter. Conduct training sessions to prepare library staff. Analyze and issue technical opinions and managerial reports. Keep the library collection or any other institutional collection up to date. Participate in computerization services, updating databases and ensuring information integrity. Conduct studies and propose improvements to area processes. * Required Experience: Minimum of 6 months of documented experience in the field. * Technical Competencies: Knowledge of ABNT standards. Proficiency in computerized library management systems. Basic computer skills.
