Job Summary: The Sales Assistant will support the hotel's commercial department by serving corporate clients, travel agencies, and tour operators, assisting with reservations and preparing proposals. Support commercial initiatives and internal events The Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting the hotel's commercial department, including serving corporate clients, travel agencies, and tour operators; assisting with reservations; preparing commercial proposals; and managing post\-sale follow\-up — all contributing to achieving occupancy and revenue targets. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the commercial team in preparing and sending proposals and contracts; * Provide customer service to corporate clients, agencies, and partners; * Support the reservations department (entry, verification, and tracking); * Update customer and company records in the system; * Assist in controlling rates, allotments, and blocks; * Manage rate fluctuations across distribution channels; * Monitor follow\-ups on submitted proposals; * Support commercial initiatives and internal events; * Prepare sales pickup, occupancy, and performance reports; Ensure strong relationships and effective communication with customers and internal departments. * **Requirements** + Completed high school education (a college degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or related fields is a plus); + Prior experience in customer service, sales, or reservations (preferred but not mandatory); + Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite); + Strong verbal and written communication skills; + Organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactivity; Ability to work effectively with goals and deadlines. + **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience with hotel management systems (PMS), channel managers, Omnibees, or similar platforms; - Familiarity with rate structures, occupancy metrics, average daily rate (ADR), and RevPAR; - Intermediate English or Spanish; - Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry. **Behavioral Competencies** - Commercial mindset and results orientation; - Strong interpersonal skills; - Agility and negotiation ability; - Professional and courteous demeanor; - Teamwork capability.
