Job Description:
**What You Will Do:**
Perform activities focused on accident prevention and protection of workers’ health and physical integrity at the Abreu e Lima Refinery’s automation construction site.
Conduct field inspections, issue reports on unsafe conditions, monitor critical activities (site installations, load handling, and commissioning), and participate in the development and review of JSA (Job Safety Analysis), PTW (Permit-to-Work), and emergency response plans.
Deliver safety training, support HSE campaigns, participate in planning meetings with work fronts, and accompany internal and external audits according to client guidelines.
Ensure compliance with Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), applicable legislation, and Petrobras’ SSMA requirements, guaranteeing contractual compliance.
**What Skills and Capabilities Will Make You Successful?**
* Proficiency in NRs and Petrobras’ SSMA (Safety and Environment) guidelines.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a safety technician in companies certified to ISO 45001.
* Ability to identify risks and propose corrective actions in complex industrial environments.
* Skill in conducting safety dialogues, inspections, and accident investigations.
* Assertive communication and technical demeanor when interacting with contractors, regulatory inspectors, and operational teams.
* Proactivity and organization in safety documentation management (records, checklists, reports, and evidence).

**To Whom Will You Report?**
Reports to the Occupational Safety Manager, with technical interface to the client’s Safety Inspector and the Contract’s Occupational Safety Engineer.
You will work integrated within the SSMA (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) team, supporting front-line leaders, engineers, and supervisors in implementing safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
**What Qualifications Will Make You Successful in This Role?**
* Technical qualification in Occupational Safety, with active registration at the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE).
* Certified and qualified Professional Fire Brigade Instructor, with documented technical competence in fire prevention and suppression, and first aid.
* Proven experience in industrial construction projects, preferably under Petrobras contracts.
* Knowledge of SSMA management tools and reporting platforms (e.g., SGI, e-Social, etc.).
* Courses: NR-10, NR-33, NR-35, and Emergency Brigade.
* Desired Courses: ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Training and familiarity with Petrobras’ SSMA Management System.
