Job Summary: A speech-language pathology professional responsible for assessment, functional diagnosis, planning, and implementation of individual or group therapy, with emphasis on rehabilitation and stimulation of communication. Key Highlights: 1. Speech-language assessment and therapy across multiple areas 2. Multidisciplinary team collaboration and development of therapeutic plans 3. Family guidance and monitoring of patient progress * Conduct clinical assessment of oral and written communication, language, voice, speech, hearing, and orofacial functions. * Identify language impairments associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, psychiatric conditions, or neurological disorders. * Apply standardized speech-language assessment instruments and protocols. * Prepare reports and technical opinions containing functional diagnoses and therapeutic plans. * Plan and implement individual or group speech-language therapy. * Develop strategies to stimulate language, communication, and social interaction. * Address pragmatic communication skills, essential in conditions such as autism and other developmental disorders. * Provide speech, voice, and language rehabilitation when impaired by emotional or neurological conditions. * Collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychopedagogues, and other professionals. * Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings to develop integrated therapeutic plans. * Contribute to individualized therapeutic plans (ITPs). * Guide family members on communication-stimulation strategies within the home environment. * Deliver therapeutic education to enhance patient interaction and development. * Monitor patient progress and advise on treatment continuity. * Document clinical sessions in accordance with technical and ethical standards. * Prepare progress reports, technical opinions, and other required documentation. * Maintain appropriate documentation for audits, health insurance contracts, and therapeutic follow-up.
