The system was built using PHP 8, ensuring high performance, enhanced security, and compatibility with modern language features. For the visual interface, Bootstrap was adopted, enabling a responsive, intuitive, and accessible layout across various devices, including computers, tablets, and smartphones. The application follows the MVC (Model–View–Controller) architectural pattern, ensuring a clear separation of responsibilities: Model: responsible for business logic and database communication, managing information such as employee personal data, positions, salaries, working hours, and histories. View: responsible for the system’s visual presentation, displaying forms, tables, reports, and dashboards clearly and in an organized manner. Controller: acts as an intermediary between Model and View, processing user requests, validating data, and controlling application flow. Key features of the system include: Employee registration, editing, viewing, and deletion; Management of positions, departments, and access levels; Salary, benefits, and contract management; Recording of working hours, absences, and overtime; Generation of managerial and administrative reports; Authentication system and permission control based on user profiles. The system was designed following software development best practices, with emphasis on security, scalability, and maintainability, allowing for future expansions such as payroll integration, financial modules, or external APIs.
